Popular culture is deeply rooted in the Alt Penedès. Each of the 28 villages in the region, has its own customs and festivals, which take place throughout the year, among which are human constructions, called "Castells"


In addition to these ancient traditions, the area is very dynamic regarding the holding of new cultural events such as music festivals, fairs and activities related to wine, and artisan markets.
